Southeast Michigan remains under an air quality alert for elevated levels of fine particulate matter from melting snow. The alert is set to expire at noon on Monday, Feb. 16.

Residents in St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne and Monroe counties are under an air quality alert. Weather officials urge people to limit their outdoor activity as much as possible, especially those with existing health issues, to avoid breathing in the polluted air.
