I have lived with Hashimoto’s for well over 20 years. It has made me a fat female and miserable. Doctors only treat rather than cure.

My antibodies have dropped 10 fold, slowly at first, then added other things.

First of all, gut health is paramount. I had an issue with an upper GI bleed 6 months or so before Hashimoto’s showed up. I tried all kinds of probiotics for over 20 years. Nothing helped. Collagen is the cure.

Most Hashimoto’s people are deficient in the following:

1. Vit D. Take 10k IU daily.
2. Selenium. Eat 2 Brazil nuts daily.
3. Magnesium and zinc. I found a good source. I do know if a link is allowed here.
4. Iodine. Yes, I said that. Most Americans are low in iodine and it is necessary for thyroid function.

My Hashimoto’s was triggered due to gut health.
