There is no significant evidence suggesting that Coca-Cola directly uses nanotechnology in its beverages. However, nanotechnology may be involved in various aspects of the production process.

Packaging: Coca-Cola might use nano-coatings in packaging to enhance durability, reduce weight, and improve freshness. These coatings can also improve the barrier properties, helping preserve the beverage’s carbonation and flavor.

Flavors and Additives: Nanotechnology could be used to encapsulate flavors or nutrients, improving their stability, shelf life, and absorption by the body.

Carbonation and Texture: Nanotechnology could optimize carbonation, allowing for more efficient CO2 dissolution, enhancing the drinking experience, and improving the texture of the beverage.

Manufacturing Efficiency: Nanomaterials may be used in the production process to improve machinery, reduce energy use, or enhance water purification systems.

While Coca-Cola hasn't highlighted the use of nanotechnology in its products, any application would likely comply with food safety regulations from authorities like the FDA or EFSA.
