CDPMCS Monday Night Zoom Call By John Jay Weiss, PhD

This Monday evening, we are honored once again to have Jay Weiss, PhD, speak on Alpha Galactase Syndrome (AGS)
John Jay Weiss, Ph.D. (Northwestern University, Tumor Cell Biology) has been actively involved in immunoassay test development and clinical trials for over 40 years focusing on the field of allergy. He has designed and directed assay development programs for various substances including: Total IgE, specific IgE, specific IgG and specific IgG4. Dr. Weiss has served as the President of the In Vitro Allergy Diagnostic Manufacturers Association, and advisor to the NCCLS in vitro specific IgE standardization committee. He is past president of American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) and National Independent Laboratory Association (NILA). He has published several articles related to latex allergy and given numerous lectures on diagnostic allergy assays throughout the world.
He developed and offered the first quantitative IgG anti SARS-CoV-2 antigen tests for the spike protein receptor binding domain (RBD), S1 subunit of the spike protein (S1), and nucleocapsid protein (NBD) during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Allermetrix, Inc. was founded in July of 2006 and Jay has been the president since its inception.. The laboratory offers our own highly sensitive specific IgE, IgG, and IgG4 tests for over 500 different antigens. We serve all of the US and some countries in Central America. Our reports are available in English and Spanish.
