Benoit Tano, MD, a dual board-certified physician in internal medicine and allergy and immunology, has extensive clinical experience treating a diverse population of adults and children suffering from nasal allergies, food allergies, eczema, asthma, hives, angioedema, and other related conditions.
Dr. Tano is an esteemed medical professional with a comprehensive background in both medicine and economics. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Ohio and holds a PhD in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany. Dr. Tano completed his fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and has held multiple prestigious professional appointments across the United States, including his current role at Allergy Associates of Hartford.
Dr. T is a prolific author with several numerous publications including bestsellers such as “The Layman’s Guide to Integrative Immunity.” His research is featured in many peer-reviewed journals, and he is a recognized speaker at national and international medical conferences.
Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, Dr. Tano is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the founder of the International Academy of Integrative Immunity (I-AIIM). His dedication to mentorship and fellowship programs within I-AIIM underscores his commitment to nurturing the next generation of medical professionals.
