Ross Pelton is a pharmacist, nutritionist, author and a health educator who is widely recognized as the world’s leading authority on drug-induced nutrient depletions. He was named one of the top 50 most influential pharmacists in the United States by American Druggist magazine for his work in Natural Medicine.
With over 30 years of research and scientific experience, Ross turned his passion for educating people about health and life extension into a legacy for thousands of clients around the world.
Dr. P is currently the Scientific Director for Essential Formulas, Inc, based in Dallas, TX. As a pharmacist, he is an expert on pharmaceutical drugs and their life-altering side effects. As a certified clinical nutritionist (CCN), he counsels clients on diet, nutrition and natural therapies for a wide range of health issues. As a health care professional, Ross helps clients and other healthcare professionals utilize and integrate natural therapies and life extension technologies into their lives and/or practices to achieve a healthier, longer life.

Cancer Research
In 1982 Ross began researching cancer at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD).
Ross conducted studies with world renown scientist Dr. Gerhard Schrauzer on the relationship between the trace mineral selenium and breast cancer.

Alternative Cancer Therapy Hospital Administrator
In 1987 Ross worked for a year as a consultant at the The Gerson Institute He researched and documented long-term survivors of those who used the Gerson Therapy as a sole cancer treatment.
In 1988 Ross and his wife Taffy moved to Baja, Mexico where Ross became hospital administrator of one of the world’s largest hospitals that specialized in alternative, non-toxic cancer therapies. From 1988 to 1994 Ross managed the in-patient and out-patient alternative cancer therapies for thousands of cancer patients.
Upon returning to San Diego in 1994, Ross wrote about alternative cancer therapies in his second book, titled Alternatives In Cancer Therapy (Simon & Schuster, 1994). Subsequently, he wrote How To Prevent Breast Cancer (Simon & Schuster, 1995) with his wife Taffy Clarke Pelton, MA and Skip Vint, MD.
Nutritionist
In 1994 Ross was certified as a clinical nutritionist (CCN) through the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists (IAACN). He teaches weekend seminars for health professionals who aspire to pass the exam and become certified clinical nutritionists.

Ross devoted a significant portion of the past 20 years to speaking, writing, and conducting seminars on a variety of health-related topics.
