A graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, Carol’s passion for optimizing health and commitment to compounding is evident in her extensive involvement with prestigious organizations such as the International College of Integrated Medicine, the American College of Apothecaries, the American Pharmacists Association, and the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding.
Her dedication to the field is further demonstrated by her role as the founder and first chair of the Compounding Special Interest Group within the American Pharmacists Association, as well as her position as chair for the Integrated Medicine Consortium.
Carol’s expertise in the field of bio-identical hormone therapies is unparalleled, having attended hundreds of complementary medicine conferences and dedicating countless hours to reading and researching numerous books and scientific papers. Alongside her work in compounding pharmacy, Carol co-owns an alternative medicine practice and co-hosts the radio program “Take Charge of Your Health,” which is broadcast in the greater New York area on WBAI, WPPB, and PRN.fm.
Carol’s commitment to advancing the understanding of women’s health is further exemplified by her role on the Medical Advisory Board for the Centre for Menstrual Cycle and Ovulation Research (CeMCOR.ca).
