Microbiome Deep Dive with Dr. Piper Dobner

December 30, 2025 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm EST
Dr. Piper Dobner

Meet Dr.Dobner

and Unlock the Secrets of

The Microbiome Deep Dive

A naturopathic doctor who specializes in microbiome therapeutics, Dr Piper Dobner has spent the past decade working in the fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) space. She has helped many patients overcome recurrent and treatment-resistant C. difficile infection, and that work shaped the way she practices today: gut health improves most reliably when we restore the microbial ecosystem—not just chase symptoms.

Dr. P teaches an “ecosystem” approach to healing. She views the microbiome as a supportive community that wants you strong and resilient, because a healthy body creates a healthy home. In a time when antibiotic resistance continues to rise and gut issues worsen after repeated medication exposure, she focuses on rebuilding microbial diversity, strengthening the gut barrier, and supporting the body’s natural capacity to recover.

Along with microbial therapies, Dr. D uses botanical medicine, homeopathy, flower essences, and gentle, hands-on bodywork (including craniosacral therapy and myofascial release). She emphasizes lifestyle fundamentals—nutrition, stress support, and practical self-care encouraging patients to feel empowered and equipped, not overwhelmed.

In this Microbiome Deep Dive webinar, Piper connects the science to real world medical practice. Expect clear teaching, clinical insights, and a fresh perspective that helps you see gut health in a more hopeful, effective way.

Diversity in the Microbiome with Dr. Piper Dobner

October 2024

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain core microbiome concepts (diversity, resilience, keystone species, dysbiosis, and colonization resistance) and apply an ecosystem-based framework to common clinical presentations.
  2. Differentiate evidence-informed microbiome therapeutics—including targeted antimicrobials, prebiotics/probiotics/postbiotics, diet and lifestyle interventions, and fecal microbiota transplant (FMT)—and select appropriate strategies based on patient history, risk factors, and response patterns.
  3. Describe clinical considerations for FMT in recurrent and treatment-resistant infections (especially C. difficile), including patient selection, preparation, expected outcomes, contraindications/precautions, and follow-up strategies to support durable microbiome restoration.
