Dr. Jacquelyn Sammons, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist practices in Orange County for more than the past ten years. She serves patients at Transformation Health & Wellness in Anaheim, California.
Educated in Southern California, Dr. S completed her undergraduate degree at California State University, Fullerton, earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and followed that by interning at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Sammons finished her residency training at the University of California, San Diego, before returning to Orange County to practice.
As a provider, Dr. J brings an outside-the-box, problem-solving approach to health and wellness, along with a unique mindset. She views the human body as a dynamic unit of function. Patients health needs are not a cookie-cutter one size fits all solution. She aims to provide each of patient with a personalized plan of integrative care.
With a passion for educaton, Dr. Jacquelyn Sammons brings a refreshing perspective that optimizes health outcomes for each individual who walks through the door at Transformation Health & Wellness. Her extensive training enables her to hone in on the root cause of an ailment to find the appropriate remedy.
As a practitioner, Dr. Jacquelyn Sammons studies a myriad of paths of healing. Philosophically, she believes each disease process usually arises out of an unseen obstacle in the body. Removing the obstacle unlocks the key to optimal health. Dr. Sammons sees the role of a physician as more of a facilitator of healing, rather than a mere administrator of medication. She recognizes the fundamental role of the mind, body, and spirit connection in restoring good health.
Dr. Jacquelyn Sammons has earned numerous credentials in traditional western medicine. She is also proficient in osteopathic manipulations and appreciates the role of nutrition, exercise, and herbal or mineral supplements in health and wellness. Dr. S. draws on her extensive training in traditional and integrative medicine to help her patients achieve optimal health.
